You must be 18 years of age or older to submit your story for consideration or you must have consent from your parents or relatives.

Entries must be genuine stories of up to 100 words in keeping with the positive aims of the project and not contain any offensive material. We also require a link to your website so that we can hear your style of playing and see some images or video. You should be willing for your story and link to appear on the SIX STRINGS website. We will contact you if we require more detail beyond the 100 words.

Entrants should be willing to talk about their experiences on camera, be filmed playing the guitar and provide permission for this material to be used within the film for distribution.

Successful entrants will have a great opportunity to tell their story on film. Guitarists may be asked to perform brief excerpts of their music on film; any performance fees and/or music rights will be discussed on an individual basis.

Where possible, reasonable expenses or in-kind assistance from the project's supporters will be provided if necessary.

Schedule. We aim to begin production in late 2010. Any changes will be displayed on this website.

FUNDING. Funding is via IndieGoGo.com If the funding target is not achieved within the allocated period (90 days) we will roll the project on with the aim of meeting the $40,000 minimum production funding. All funds received will be used to produce the film and/or maintain the project websites.

The opportunity is open to people from all cultures and backgrounds worldwide.
